US:Obama quadrupling of deficit is Crazonomics- a recipe for disaster

In President Obama's first year in office the deficit is expected to reach $1.75 trillion. In President Bush's last year in office, 2008, the deficit reached $459 billion. So Obama is quadrupling the deficit. This is voodoo economics at its best. Oh certainly Obama has bought change to America but it is change for the worse.

In addition he is endeavouring to introduce a healthcare plan, which is financially unsustainable. Meanwhile inflation is set to take off. Taxation must rise to fund this Crazonomics. China has begun to question the size of the deficit and is no longer prepared to sign a blank cheque.
America may have a slight upturn but the long-term prognosis for the US economy is frightening unless the deficit is tackled immediately. Being master of the teleprompter is no substitute for economic expertise.

America has the worst of all worlds now. A big spending-economically illiterate Democratic President and big spending Democrat controlled Congress, which is addicted to pork barrel spending.

Thankfully the Republican Party has begun to learn the lesson that there is no such thing as a free lunch and is now preaching fiscal rectitude. It has begun to go back to basics.
Once Obama passes the 24 month period in office he will be in the run in to the 2012 presidential election. It is safe to argue that if he fails to tackle the deficit within the next 12 months, nothing will be done in 2011 and 2012. Of course foreign lenders may force his hand and refuse to fund the deficit. Then the US economy will bomb.

Obama Plans To Reduce US Nuclear Arsenal By 80%- The Ultimate Folly

The Times Online carries the following:

President Obama will convene the most ambitious arms reduction talks with Russia for a generation, aiming to slash each country’s stockpile of nuclear weapons by 80 per cent.
The radical treaty would cut the number of nuclear warheads to 1,000 each, The Times has learnt. Key to the initiative is a review of the Bush Administration’s plan for a US missile defence shield in Eastern Europe, a project fiercely opposed by Moscow. ..

This plan is the ultimate folly. The Balance of Terror has served the world well. Of course there was a Cold War between the West and Russia but the fear of a nuclear holocaust has on occasions concentrated minds and allowed the US and Russia to pull back from the brink.

Obama's plan is highly irresponsible and puts Western security in peril. There is no mention of the Chinese nuclear arsenal. Presumably Obama is content to allow the development of China as the worlds major nuclear super power. China will then be free to blackmail the US and Europe.

Think again Mr Obama. It is one thing to win cheers from the extreme left of the Democratic Party. It is quite another to put the security of the Free World in jeopardy.

Any Catholic politician who votes for abortion is at odds with Catholic teaching and the law of God. Any Catholic politician who attempts to uphold an already existing law, which promotes abortion, is at odds with Catholic teaching and the law of God.
In short politicians such as Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi are guilty of grave mortal sin. They may not receive Holy Communion.
The same strictures apply to Catholic voters whether religious or lay. Catholic voters should not vote for Barack Obama who supports partial birth abortion. To do so is a grave sin.

The Democratic Party platform supports abortion. It is at odds with Catholic teaching and the law of God. No bluff or bluster from Obama, Biden or Pelosi can obscure this fact. The so -called pro- choice position represents the culture of death.

Shameful personal attacks on Palin as left blogosphere plummets the depths

The left wing blogosphere has once more disgraced itself in some of the vilest personal attacks ever witnessed on Sarah Palin and her daughter. The DailyKos has been to the forefront in an outrageous character assassination campaign. I have no intention of regurgitating or discussing baseless accusations here. This is an effort to intimidate and bully Palin out of politics. It would not be out of place in Stalinist Russia or Nazi Germany.

Palin is facing a left wing onslaught because she is a conservative woman. To be pro life is a crime in the eyes of these smear merchants. The insidious campaign is increasing in intensity daily. It is now open season. Its get Palin at all costs. Whilst Barack Obama condemned the smears, politicians such as Clinton and Obama should not have attended the Daily Kos convention. Palin has the political maturity and character to withstand this witch hunt and to articulate her reform agenda. She is a breath of fresh air. Alaskans are a steely people.
The extreme left wing of the Democratic Party will not break Palin's resolve to progress the interests of the American people.

No surprise that Socialist stronghold Berlin had large turn out for Obama

Much has been made of the large crowd, which turned out to greet Barack Obama in Berlin. The Liberal media has been mesmerised by his speech.
Why should this be so surprising? Obama is on the left wing of the Democratic Party.
He favours higher spending and taxes and greater state involvement in citizens lives.
These are the trademarks of a European Socialist. European Socialists naturally applaud one of their own.

Berlin is a left wing bastion as the following figures attest:

• The Social Democrats (Socialists) secured 30.8% of the vote


• The Left Party (mainly ex Communists) secured 13.4% of the vote.


• Alliance 90/Greens secured 13.1% of the vote.


• Labour and Social Justice Party secured 2.9% of the vote


• The Grays secured 3.8% of the vote.

So the Left secured 63.9% of the vote in Berlin or 883,492 votes.
All in all no surprise that Obama secured a large turn out and a big welcome.

Clinton Attempts to Outmanoeuvre Obama

As Hillary Clinton's campaign for the Democratic Party nomination grinds to a conclusion, today she gave a broad hint of her interest in the Vice–Presidential slot.

The Clinton campaign partly fuelled by the oxygen of racism has spent months emphasizing the point that Obama is incapable of defeating John McCain. The hatred between both candidates is palpable. Indeed it is difficult to see how both could work in tandem. In addition Bill Clinton would undoubtedly involve himself in the election campaign. His bad tempered outbursts would be manna from heaven for McCain.

According to the Associated Press Obama has now amassed sufficient delegates to lock up the nomination. Unfortunately for Obama most political discussion is not about this today. Rather it is about Clinton’s possible Vice Presidential ambitions. Clinton has staged a publicity coup. Hillary may not even be serious. Rather it may be a case of pay back time as she seethes over her failure to secure the nomination. Is she prepared to accept second best? Certainly many of her supporters feel that she has been cheated of the nomination because she is a woman and are unlikely to accept a consolation prize.
If Clinton fails to secure the Vice Presidential slot she will set her sights on 2012.

Democrats Dilemma as Obama moves closer to nomination

The outcomes of the North Carolina and Indiana primaries have further weakened Clinton's prospects of securing the Democratic party nomination.

The Party is now on the horns of a dilemma. Obama is winning in terms of the popular vote and delegate count. As North Carolina is a larger state than Indiana, Obama has moved further ahead in the delegate count and popular vote.

However there is increasing antipathy towards him amongst a large section of the white Democratic electorate throughout the US, which has plumped increasingly for Clinton. The Rev Jeremiah Wright issue has severely damaged Obama.

The 30% African American electorate in North Carolina has to some extent blunted Clinton's success and handed the state to Obama.
Obama’s victory in North Carolina is a major blow to Clinton who had hoped to secure knock out successes in both states. Such an outcome would have rocked the super delegates and possibly stampeded them into the Clinton camp.

Obama’s success does not alter the fact that if he secures the Democratic nomination-as is highly probable- he is likely to lose a sizeable section of Reagan Democrats to John McCain.
It is probable that Clinton as Democratic candidate would hold a higher proportion of the conservative Democrat vote. She will target super delegates with this message in a final effort to detach them from Obama. It is important to remember that Clinton has adopted an increasingly conservative posture to win white working class votes. This has camouflaged her liberal policies. It is a political stunt, which has worked well for her.

She will also endeavour to secure voting rights for the Michigan and Florida delegates. Will the Democratic nominee be chosen by only 48 of the 50 states?
A resolution of this issue could help Clinton.

If the super delegates were to move towards Clinton and deprive Obama of the nomination the Democratic Party would be torn asunder as African Americans walked out at the Convention. This is unlikely to happen.

Delegates are damned if they do and damned if they don’t. This is music to the ears of John McCain who needs every break that he can get.


Today McCain reassured conservative voters on the issue of the appointment of conservative judges. This is an astute move, which will appeal to Reagan Democrats and will help consolidate GOP support.

McCain Rules Out Pro-Choice Running Mate according to the Bulletin

“Departing from a previous position made during the 2000 presidential campaign, presumptive Republican nominee John McCain hinted to a crowd of Villanova students that pro-choice Republicans need not apply for the position of his running mate. Mr. McCain said that "it would be difficult" for a pro-choice Republican, like former Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Ridge, to share the ticket.

"I don't know if it would stop him, but it would be difficult," Mr. McCain told MSNBC host Chris Matthews…………………………”

John McCain is determined obviously to copper fasten the support of religious conservatives within the GOP. A pro-life running mate will reassure Catholic and Evangelical GOP voters. Such voters can be guaranteed to inject muscle into the McCain campaign organization and will undoubtedly turn out in force on Election Day. As Clinton and Obama are strongly pro abortion many pro life Democrats and Independents are likely to defect to McCain. Such voters cannot in conscience vote for the destruction of the unborn child in the womb. In addition many pro life Democrats are revolted at the support of Clinton and Obama for partial birth abortion.

Jon Corzine a Clinton super delegate to switch to Barack Obama?

Gov. Jon Corzine, a Clinton super delegate, has just stated on CNBC's Squawk Box that he reserves the right to change his vote from Hillary Clinton if she doesn't win the popular vote. Looks like its curtains for Clinton. It is highly unlikely that the super delegates will deprive Obama of the nomination if he wins the popular vote. To do so would precipitate a cataclysmic split in the Democratic Party as African Americans departed.

Clinton and Obama are both flip floppers

In the New Hampshire Democratic debate Hillary Clinton attempted to paint Barack Obama as a flip-flopper. "He could have a pretty good debate with himself," Clinton said. She targeted inconsistencies in Obama's positions on issues like health care, national security and Iraq.
"You have changed positions within three years on a range of issues that you put forth when you ran for the Senate and have changed," she said. "You said that records matter." Of course she is correct in her assertions but the problem for Hillary is that she is also a master flip-flopper.


She complained in March 2006 that some Republicans wanted to impose a police state to deal with illegal immigration, arguing instead that illegals should be allowed to earn their U.S. citizenship. However in 2003 Mrs. Clinton argued differently. "I am, you know, adamantly against illegal immigrants," Clinton said in a Feb. 2003 radio interview. She said that the US should consider introducing a national ID card system.



Her flip flops on the Iraq war are well known:"A lead editorial in the Wall Street Journal chronicles Sen. On the CNN / YouTube Debate in July, Senator Hillary Clinton stopped short of saying she would talk to Third World leaders like Hugo Chavez, explaining in a complex way that she would send diplomatic envoys to do this......... Hillary Clinton has called herself an "agnostic" on nuclear power, neither a supporter or opponent.



In 1993, President Clinton appointed his wife to head and be the chairperson of the Task Force on National Health Care Reform. The task force formulated a plan known as the Clinton health care plan a proposal that would mandate employers to provide health coverage to their employees through individual health maintenance organizations. The plan was quickly derided as "Hillarycare" by its opponents, and did not receive enough support for a floor vote in either the House or the Senate, although both chambers were controlled by Democrats. The proposal was abandoned in September of 1994.



According to ..SamGail Before and during her early years in the White House, she supported Palestinian statehood, but she apparently forgot this after successfully running for senator from New York as a Democrat.The rest is history. She obviously had to cater to a new constituency, make the ritual trip to Israel and forget any sympathy she once had for the Palestinians. But is her 180-degree flip-flop on that festering issue a portent of her leadership if she attains the White House?

Clinton also made a major u-turn on the question of drivers licences for illegal immigrants. She originally supported New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer's attempt to allow illegal immigrants in his state to receive driver's licenses.When Governor Spitzer decided to withdraw the plan Clinton stated "I support Governor Spitzer's decision today to withdraw his proposal." She also said "As president, I will not support driver's licenses for undocumented people and will press for comprehensive immigration reform that deals with all of the issues around illegal immigration including border security and fixing our broken system."

Essentially both Obama and Clinton have major credibility problems. Obama as an excellent communicator has managed to side step major u-turns. Clinton has bluffed and blustered to obfuscate inconsistencies. Change as advocated by Clinton and Obama is a chimera.

Hillary Clinton's Christianity-The Contradiction

Increasingly Hillary Clinton has begun to use religion as a vehicle to enhance her election prospects. In The Christian Science Monitor Zac Wright, spokesman for Clinton's South Carolina campaign is quoted as saying that "The senator's faith is something that's very personal and dear to her, but it's reflected in all things she does and all aspects of life, so it's a natural part of the campaign." She states that she is a practicing Methodist.

She has begun to use a more sanitised approach to issues such as abortion. She is now attempting to muddy the waters. Speeches on the abortion issue are laced with compassionate expressions and phrases. Silken words cannot cloud the fact that Hillary Clinton supports abortion. NARAL Pro-Choice America gave her a 100% pro choice rating. Abortion is the destruction of the unborn child in the womb. This is the very antithesis of Christianity. The fifth commandment states that thou shalt not kill. Yet Clinton defends the barbaric destruction of the defenceless unborn child in the womb.

She speaks of prayer as battle against Satan, evil, and sin. Unfortunately Hillary's prayer does not extend to the evil of abortion. The pro abortion movement is an agent of Satan."No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon." (Matt 6:19-24 RSV)
Hillary has chosen to oppose God's will on abortion. Therein lies the contradiction in her Christianity.

A vote for Clinton is a vote for abortion. She is unworthy of the Presidency. Just remember that 45 million unborn children have been slaughtered since Roe v. Wade. Consider the excruciating pain that many suffer when they are torn apart. Remember Hillary Clinton and the Democratic party support this. Shame on them. They are the enemies of Christianity.

Hillary Clinton lacks leadership qualities

Much has been made of Hillary Clinton's leadership qualities. In reality such qualities are largely lacking.

• Unfortunately for the Democratic party she is not a conviction politician.
• Each statement is carefully crafted to soothe the sensibilities of the targeted audience.
• Hillary is all things to all men.
• There is no evidence from her statements that she could take hard decisions .
• The 1993 Hillarycare fiasco provides a graphical illustration of her political ineptitude. It was even disowned by fellow Democrats.
• Hillary Clinton wants to run the largest enterprise in the world. She hasn’t run a corner store. She hasn’t run a state. She hasn’t run a city,” “She has never run anything. And the idea that she could learn to be President as an internship just doesn’t make any sense-Mitt Romney.
• Clinton leads on evading questions.
• Clinton leads on planting questions.
• She is confused on illegal immigration. Her latest u-turn on the issue of driving licenses for illegal immigrants proves conclusively that all her pronouncements are tailored to suit the prevailing mood. She cannot take a firm stand on anything.
• She is strongly pro abortion. Yet she tries to reach out to anti abortion voters with anodyne statements. What hypocrisy.
• She is the master of obfuscation in relation to taxation policies. Hillary will simultaneously balance the budget, introduce tax cuts and greatly extend social programmes and health entitlements. This is an attempt to square the circle. Her taxation policies will cripple the middle class.
• Hillary is too thin skinned. She could not take criticism from Obama and Edwards.
• Sending Bill out to bat for her indicates she lacks the toughness required to face down hard men like Putin.

Now contrast Hillary with Mike Huckabee who has clear cut policies on taxation (The Fair Tax) abortion and Iraq. It is a no contest.
