Dr. Alveda King Speech at Restoring Honor Rally, Washington, DC

Dr. Alveda King
Director, African American Outreach
Saturday, August 28, 2010

My Dear Fellow Americans,

It’s absolutely wonderful for Glenn to use his popularity and influence to bring us all together to focus… not on an election campaign or a political cause, but to focus on honor, and on the content of our charter and not the color of our skin. God bless you Glenn.

47 years ago my uncle, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., stood here and proclaimed, “I have a dream.” My parents, Rev. A. D. King and Mother Naomi were here to support Uncle Martin. I was at home with my grandparents and all of the younger children. We all knew that August 28 would be a very special day. It was an incredible moment in history; the descendent of Irish and African ancestors speaking to the entire nation about freedom, about justice, and ultimately, about love.

Uncle Martin was a man of God and he had a servant’s heart. He marveled not at awards he received for what he did. He rather stood in awe at what the Lord did.

He took to heart the words of Jesus in John 12:26, “If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there shall My servant also be; if anyone serves Me, the Father will honor him.”

So it is with those we come to honor today. They seek to honor God, they seek to serve. The Book of Proverbs teaches us that before honor comes humility, and we celebrate and honor their lives today.

I can only imagine what these heroes today have experienced in their own trials, even as my Uncle Martin did in his lifetime. We know how Uncle Martin labored from a cramped, roach infested jail cell; writing on the margins of an old newspaper the beginnings of his famous Letter from a Birmingham Jail. It was there, in the darkest of times that he concentrated not on his surroundings, but his service. It was there that he wrote, “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.”

It’s been decades now since Uncle Martin’s assassination. When we think of him, we think of a bold visionary, a prophetic leader. But he was also a man who was jailed 17 times, whose home was bombed, and who suffered taunts and threats on a daily basis. Uncle Martin was a humble servant -- a man who was not afraid to give his life for the cause of a greater, freer America.

Today, we are here to honor special men and women who like my Uncle Martin are blessed with servants’ hearts. Though they give their service in ways very different from Martin Luther King, Jr., like him, they are people who are not afraid to give their lives for the freedom of others.

To use an expression of my Uncle Martin’s, these are men and women who don’t give lip service to our nation’s ideals -- they give life service.

If Uncle Martin could be here today, he would surely commend us for giving honor where honor is due. He would surely remind us that as brothers and sisters united by “one blood” in one single race, the human race, where we are called to honor God and to love each other. He would encourage us to lay aside the divisive lies that cause us to think that we are members of separate races. We are one human family. We must not oppress each other and we must help those being oppressed.

Forty-seven years ago, Uncle Martin compared our nation’s promise of equal protection to a check marked insufficient funds. Today, in more than one sense, America is nearly bankrupt.

Our material gains seem to be going the way of our moral losses. We are still suffering from the great evil divide of racism. Our children are suffering in failing school systems. Our sons and daughters are being incarcerated at astronomical rates. Sickness, disease and poverty of the spirit, soul and body are plaguing our communities. The procreative foundation of marriage is being threatened, and the wombs of our mothers have become places where the blood of our children is shed in a “womb war” that threatens the fabric of our society. And the economy reflects the dearth of our nation’s moral poverty.

Yet, we are not without hope. Faith, hope and love are not dead in America. We still trust in God!

Our honored heroes here today bear witness that there is yet hope for the human heart. It is time to enlist in a certain cause. Just as each individual man and woman in our military enlisted, we must commit ourselves to service – to each other and to our nation.

Oh, that the fountain can be refilled, that Heaven’s unlimited bank account can flow back to our lives here on earth. When will we know that the check Uncle Martin spoke of is good?

We will know when prayer is once again welcome in the public squares of America. We will know when our children are no longer in mortal peril on our streets and in our classrooms, and in the wombs of our mothers. We will know when righteousness rolls down like waters, and justice like a mighty stream.

Yes, I too have a dream, I have a dream that one day soon, God’s Agape love will transcend skin color and economic status, and cause us to turn from moral turpitude. I have a dream that America will repent of the sin of racism and return to honor. I have a dream that white privilege will become human privilege and that people of every ethnic blend will receive everyone as brothers and sisters in the Love of God. I have a dream that America will pray, and God will forgive us our sins and revive our land.

On that day, we will all be able to lift every voice and sing of the love and honor that God desires for all of his children. God bless America, and let us march on together until victory is won!

Story Of Australian Woman who survived a saline abortion

They live among us but they weren’t meant to.
Of the one billion unborn babies killed since society decided abortion was a better choice than supporting women in pregnancy, a handful survive to speak beyond the womb.
Melissa Ohden is one of them and listening to her is spooky.
“We know there are far more of us – people like us,” Melissa told a small gathering in Canberra last week.

Sometime in the fifth month of pregnancy, a doctor injected a toxic saline solution into her 19-year-old mother’s amniotic fluid.
Five days later she was delivered and a nurse left her beside the bed.
Upon hearing grunting noises from the 3lb ‘corpse’, doctors were alerted and her life was saved.

Her medical records explain her existence this way: “Saline abortion that was unsuccessful”.
Melissa has met around 10 other survivors and says because of the ‘failure rate’ saline abortions have been ditched for more effective methods....

Just remember: One billion unborn babies killed so far by the abortion holocaust worldwide. One billion= One thousand millions=1,000,000,000.

Christine O'Donnell called a Whore in Scurrilous Attack by Behar Guest Judge Karen Mills-Francis

Via Fox Nation

On Wednesday’s Joy Behar Show on HLN, when a panel discussion turned to the subject of Delaware Republican Senate nominee Christine O’Donnell, panel member Judge Karen Mills-Francis of the Judge Karen’s Court show described O’Donnell as having been a "whore" as she listed some of the Senate candidate's past and recent problems.

Mills-Francis: "She’s a real train wreck, and the reason why she said that is, I mean, have you looked at this woman’s resume? She was a whore by her own admission. She was an alcoholic. She owed her college $5,000 for 10 years – they had to sue her. The IRS levied an $11,000 tax lien against her. I mean, do I need to go on?"
Apparently impressed by her rant, host Behar responded, "Keep going."

TV3/Millward Brown Poll September 2010 Overestimates Labour Party Support

On the face of it this appears to be an astonishing surge by the Labour Party. According to the poll Eamon Gilmore is also the most popular party leader for Taoiseach - 36% opt for him, compared to 19% for Enda Kenny and just 11% for Brian Cowen. Only 53% of Fine Gael voters opt for Enda Kenny as Taoiseach.
Undoubtedly the Labour Party has been gaining in popularity for the last year. However on closer scrutiny there appears to be a serious flaw in the methodology used in this poll. When the opinion poll contains dont knows the major parties support is as follows:
  • FF 18%
  • FG 25%
  • Labour 29%
  • Dont know 17%
Excluding Dont knows
  • FF 22%
  • FG 30%
  • Labour 35%
Essentially the pollsters have reallocated the dont knows in very roughly the same proportion as the percentage for each party in the actual opinion poll.
In the poll Labour secured 29% of first preferences. The pollsters then reallocated 6% from the dont knows to the Labour Party. That is 35% of the total dont knows reallocated to Labour.
FF secured 18% of the vote in the poll. It was then re allocated 4% from the dont knows. That is FF was given 23.5% of the total dont knows.
FG secured 25% of the vote in the original poll. It was reallocated 5% from the dont knows. That is 29% of the total dont knows.
Quite frankly this approach is deeply flawed. Such has been the surge to Labour in recent months it is highly unlikely that many potential Labour voters would lurk in the dont knows column. For now it is fashionable to declare support for Labour. Labour is flavour of the month. Eamon Gilmore has benefited from largely kid glove treatment in the media.
In contrast Cowen and Kenny have been savaged. The reality is that the overwhelming majority of dont knows are FG and FF supporters reluctant to show their hand. It is not fashionable to declare support for either party. However that does not mean that it will not materialise in the privacy of the ballot box. In short the Labour Party support is overestimated in this poll. The FG and FF support is seriously underestimated.
In addition much of the Labour Party support is soft. Some of this will drift back to FF in the course of a general election campaign as Labour is forced drop its ambiguity on budgetary measures needed to tackle the deficit.
In short the poll has undoubtedly caught the Labour Party surge. However its reallocation of dont knows is flawed. Consequently it underestimates FF and FG support.

Superb Forbes Article:Reverse The Fed's Monetary Practices (by Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers)

This hard-hitting article exposes the major flaws in the economic policy pursued by President Obama who between January 2009 and September 2010 has borrowed $2.6 trillion. Obama expects the government to borrow another $10 trillion over the next ten years. This is voodoo economics. The article also demolishes any justification for the Federal Reserve's monetary policies and provides a roadmap for economic regeneration. This should be compulsory reading for economic policy makers worldwide.
Here is an excerpt from the article which pulls no punches:

Its(The FED) easy money program enables the Obama Administration's spend-and-borrow addiction.

As a believer in the free enterprise system, I believe the best thing the federal government can do to spark our economic recovery is to create a favorable climate for small-business owners to expand and create jobs. Such a climate must include a lower tax burden, reasonable regulations, less public borrowing, open markets and a sound currency. For the past year and a half, the Obama administration has followed the opposite policies--going on a tax, spend and borrow binge of historic proportions--and the results, including the loss of three million private sector jobs, have been tragic.

But while the failure of President Obama's fiscal policies are evident and well-known, less attention has been paid to the failure of the Federal Reserve's monetary policies--specifically, its easy money program that enables the administration's spend-and-borrow addiction. I believe reversing the Fed's policy is essential to getting our economy back on track....Continue here

Jeri Thompson supports Christine O'Donnell for Delaware in American Spectator

Here is an excerpt of an article titled Don't Tell Me She Can't Win, Sir by Jeri Thompson in The American Spectator
The response by the Republican political establishment to the Christine O'Donnell victory over liberal Republican Mike Castle in Delaware has been an embarrassment. A strong, vocal woman upturned the political tables in Delaware, a state where both political parties have been run like blue-blooded patriarchies for the better part of half a century, and all the boys that compose "the establishment" can muster is omniscient edicts about her absolute un-electability in a general election.

Funny, I don't recall hearing similar talk from the likes of Mssrs. Rove and Cornyn after Scott Brown won in Massachusetts, Joe Miller won in Alaska, or Rand Paul won in Kentucky. In fact, despite similar sliming by the state party apparatus before Paul's victory Rove was downright supportive of him, saying on Fox News that Rand Paul could win the general election, just as he could win the primary. And this was after the state party did its darnedest to tear Paul apart and to make him look like an incompetent kook, in many ways similar to what the Republican political class has been doing to O'Donnell..... Video: Christine O'Donnell on Good Morning America (Wednesday September 15, 2010)

Christine O’Donnell rips into Karl Rove this morning:
“Everything that he is saying is un-factual. And it’s a shame because he is the same so-called political guru that predicted I wasn’t going to win. And we won and we won big. …And again he is eating some humble pie and he is just trying to restore his reputation.”
Christine O'Donnell has guts and conviction. She is a true conservative. She has youth enthusiasm and personality. She has charisma. She has steel. She has backbone.
Karl Rove's savage verbal attack on her on Fox News last night was infuriating. He was doing the Democrat's dirty work. The left wing media has today launched a vicious personalised attack against Christine O'Donnell in an effort to paint her as an extremist. Is Karl Rove comfortable in their company?
UPDATE SINCE INTERVIEW:
In a clear sign of the grassroots pressure on Republican leaders, National Republican Senatorial Committee Chairman John Cornyn just put out a statement embracing Christine O'Donnell -- a dramatic contrast with his group's curt response last night -- and writing her a big check.

It's a remarkable reversal, and a vivid illustration that the base is in charge and has the leadership running scared.

Cornyn:

Let there be no mistake: The National Republican Senatorial Committee – and I personally as the committee’s chairman – strongly stand by all of our Republican nominees, including Christine O’Donnell in Delaware.

I reached out to Christine this morning, and as I have conveyed to all of our nominees, I offered her my personal congratulations and let her know that she has our support. This support includes a check for $42,000 – the maximum allowable donation that we have provided to all of our nominees – which the NRSC will send to her campaign today.

Pennsylvania Pilgrims witness Medjugorje Miraculous Happenings

John Yuscavage is a man of science, always looking for explanations for life's hows and whys.

But the Mountain Top man is baffled by the events that unfurled before him and others during a recent trip to Medjugorje in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

He said he saw the sun spin. He watched as it changed colors, too. And he witnessed rosary chains turn to a gold color.

"My question is scientifically - or common sense - how can that be explained? It can't. The sun spinning? That's like an everyday event at Medjugorje. How is science going to explain that? They can't," said Yuscavage, who has a doctorate degree in physical chemistry and has read many books and other published accounts about Medjugorje's mysterious events...
......Her husband, Henry Krajewski, also had an extraordinary experience, she said. A Mass was being celebrated inside a Medjugorje church as Henry aimed his camera at the sun. He didn't capture the sun on his camera, but images from the indoor Mass, she explained.

John Yuscavage also saw what the camera had captured and asked Henry what was going on.

"He said, 'We just watched the Mass.' There was a Croatian Mass going on at that time in the church," John remembered...

Hillary Clinton remarks on US debt hint at possible presidential run in 2012

The Obama administration and the Democrat controlled Congress have singularly failed to tackle the ballooning deficit problem. This year it may reach $1.5 Trillion. Indeed the Chinese have expressed grave concern at the massive US debt problem. China is becoming increasingly unwilling to fund the deficit. Now enter Hillary Clinton who in a speech today made several pointed remarks which can only be interpreted as an implicit criticism of President Obama. It is important to remember that Bill Clinton as president balanced the budget. Now of course the GOP controlled Congress forced Clinton to move along the path of financial orthodoxy. Nevertheless there is a strong contrast between the Clinton and the Obama Presidencies. Hillary is hinting that a Hillary Clinton presidency would tackle the deficit problem a la Bill Clinton.
The following remarks are apposite:
"It (US Debt) poses a national security threat in two ways: it undermines our capacity to act in our own interest, and it does constrain us where constraint may be undesirable,"
"It is fair to say that we fought two wars (Iraq and Afghanistan) without paying for them and we had tax cuts that were not paid for either, and that has been a very deadly combination to fiscal sanity and responsibility,"
"So the challenge is how we get out of (it) by making the right decisions, not the wrong decisions...... "Whether one is a Republican or a Democrat, a conservative, a progressive -- whatever you call yourself -- there is no free lunch and we cannot pretend that there is without doing grave harm to our country and to our future generations,"
Clinton has always believed that she was unfairly deprived of a run at the Presidency in 2008. No doubt she is watching the collapse of support for Obama in the polls and is subtly staking out new ground for a possible run in the primaries in 2012 if support for Obama continues to bomb.

USA : Rockford’s Abortion Mill-A Woman's Horror Story from the killing centre

Rockford, Il- http://prolifecorner.com/ By James- After spending hours inside N.I.W.C. (Northern Illinois Women’s Center), Rockford’s abortion mill, a young woman came out and shared with pro-lifers what it was like inside the killing center. A long interview was then done on videotape; in order to protect her identity, we will not show her face but will share with you some of her insights and opinions about what it was like inside a place where well over fifty thousand children have been brutally killed in Rockford.

For the purpose of this article, we will give the woman we interviewed the name “Alice”.

Everything below in quotation marks is a direct quote from the video testimony of this courageous woman.

* When Alice called to get an appointment at the mill, she was told, "Under no circumstances talk to the people at the driveway because they can be violent." It's interesting the very first thing Alice was told by the people in the abortion mill was a lie.

* The first thing Alice saw upon entering the clinic parking lot were the old vehicles owned by the mill landlord and she commented on how "extremely odd was all of the cars and truck they had blocking the parking lot" and the "strange woman" yelling at her from the house (This is the abortion mill landlord's girlfriend who yells at the mothers to abort their babies.)

* Upon entering the mill, she described going through long halls, up stairs, and she said, "I even saw boxes marked bio-hazard in the hallways."

* Then Alice commented on how once inside, "You can tell you're in an old school building which is kind of ironic because you're there to kill children."

* Once in the waiting room Alice was filling out paper work but not fast enough for the "rude" receptionist who reprimanded her, "I need your paper work." Then Alice said she felt "absolutely and without a doubt" they were rushing her, and "They did not want me to sit there and think about it."

* While in the waiting room Alice saw one young woman crying and asked her, "Are you OK." The response she got from the crying woman was, "No." She also noticed, "Another girl was so distraught she wouldn't look anyone in the eye."

* When a staff member took her back for an ultrasound, Alice told a nurse she was having doubts and wanted to see the counselor. One of the first things the counselor did was tell her, "I had an abortion." The young woman felt, "The counselor was trying to justify her own abortion by convincing me to have one."

* The counselor also told Alice, concerning the abortion, "I think you're doing the right thing."

* The counselor then asked her if it was "because of religious beliefs that she was having doubts".

Then the counselor began verbally attacking the Catholic Church, which is a common occurrence at this bigoted and hate-filled clinic.

* The counselor showed her a video, and then Alice said, "I was flabbergasted." In the video, "There were Christian Ministers and Pastors and one Rabbi saying it's OK to have an abortion - God will love you any way." In the video it said, "Nothing can separate us from the love of God including abortion... so it's OK." (It's interesting to note that this abortion mill that has such a public hatred for God and religion tries to use religion to encourage young mother to kill their children.)

* The young woman told us, "If I was having religious problems with an abortion, these ministers were going to help me feel good about killing my child. That it was OK."

* One of the things she asked the counselor was about the "fetus" inside her. The counselor told her, "It doesn't become a baby until the second trimester so you had better get this done."

The last thing this tenacious young woman told us was she was certain, "I clearly heard the sound of a baby cry in the clinic. That baby's voice will haunt me forever."

(It should be noted that NIWC does not allow already born babies and/or children into the killing center; they only allow the ones who are scheduled for execution. Is it possible Alice had heard a baby’s first and last cry for help?)

It is a tragic and horrific thing to learn first hand how the abortion mill pressures women to abort their daughter or son and how they use "wolves in sheep's clothing" to break down a woman's natural God-given aversion to killing the child in her womb.

All people of good will have the responsibility to stand against this coercive destruction of women and children's lives.

After Alice granted her interview, she sent us this final thought:

“Devil in the Old Schoolhouse”

I visited Hell today. I visited a place where evil truly exists and the devil shows himself in so-called healthcare workers. I saw young teens brought in by their mothers, brought in by their boyfriends. Some came in alone.

Through the girls’ eyes, I could already see the emptiness in many of these girls’ souls, and this was before their precious babies were ripped, limb by limb, out of their wombs. I could tell that the emptiness would be permanent, just like the death of their babies.
I met with the clinic’s counselor, who fought back tears as she told me of her own abortion. A grandmother now, it seemed as if she is trying to justify her own sin by helping girls commit theirs. As supportive as she was trying to be, it was obvious that she still wrestles with her own demons.

Sitting in a window-less room for hours, I watched girl after girl go into the back, some with noticeable baby bumps. About a half hour later, she would come back out, childless, forever changed. Sitting in that clinic, where over 50,000 innocent babies have been murdered, I heard a baby’s cry. For one brief second, I had hope- because I have always loved the sound of a newborn’s cry.

But then I remembered where I was. And whether that cry was a real cry from a partial birth abortion or whether it was God sending me a sign of hope, I cannot say. But it was real, just as all of those “products of conception” are real, human lives. And the sound of a baby’s cry among a roomful of young girls ready to abort their babies truly broke my heart.
The pro-choice crowd claims that Roe v. Wade liberated women in how they are able to legally handle crisis pregnancies. But I must say that I did not see a single girl or woman today who looked free or liberated. I saw fear, shame, and an overwhelming sadness because no matter what one wants to call the life growing inside the womb, it is life.
And somewhere, sometime, each one of these girls will realize that life was her daughter or son, and she was the one who caused that baby’s untimely death. And this realization will haunt these girls forever. Now, will the pro-choice crowd please tell me how the ability for girls to make this “choice” is liberating?

I visited Hell today, and I met one of the devil’s minions; he smiled at me between executing his murders. I trudged out of the depths of Hell relatively unscathed, but I certainly cannot say that for the rest of the girls with whom I sat today.

Videos: Apparition to Mirjana at Medjugorje on September 2, 2010

Message to Mirjana on Sept. 2, 2010

On the second of each month, Our Lady appears to the visionary Mirjana to pray for non-believers, or "those who do not know the love of God," as she calls them.

This was the message given when she appeared to Mirjana on September 2, 2010, in Medjugorje.

"Dear children, I am beside you because I desire to help you to overcome trials which this time of purification puts before you. My children, one of those is not to forgive and not to ask for forgiveness. Every sin offends Love and distances you from it – and Love is my Son. Therefore, my children, if you desire to walk with me towards the peace of God’s love, you must learn to forgive and to ask for forgiveness. Thank you

This is Our Lady's Miracle Baby- by Sergio De Paz

A few Sundays ago, I drove down to the Argentine meat market to get some beef for my wife, Olivia. As you know, Argentine meat is the best in the world, and I wanted to get some to make a small parrillada for my wife.

I selected some cuts of meat, but when I went to pay, I discovered that I had left my wallet at home. So, I called Olivia and asked her what she thought I should do. She said: "Sergio, come home and we’ll do something else. It’s no big deal."

Unexpected Meeting With A Friend
At that very moment, an old friend came walking out of the market. I had taken the Pilgrim Virgin Statue of Our Lady of Fatima to his home three years ago.

I waved and told him that I was very glad to see him. In return, he expressed his regrets and condolences over the recent death of my son, Sergio Jr. In fact, he was very moved by the news of Jr.'s death.

Then, I told him about my situation and how I had left my wallet at home. He kindly offered to pay for the meat. I said: "I'll send you a check in the mail." And he said: "No, this parillada is on me."

My Friend Confides His Secret

He then confided to me something amazing.

He said: "I must tell you a secret; my wife could not conceive a baby. To find a solution, we had ventured into some Pentecostal church that was recommended by a friend. In that church, you know, they don’t like the Virgin Mary."

"So when you brought the statue of Our Lady of Fatima to our home, I said to Our Lady: 'if you want me to believe in you, give us a baby.'"

"Well, my wife gave birth to our baby boy six months ago. Now, we are both very active in the Catholic Church."

Tell People About This Miracle

Later on, he told me, "Please feel free to pass along this story to as many people as possible. Because I want others who may be in doubt about Our Lady, to know that She is truly the Mother of God and She helps us in every need, great and small."

Well, in any case, I kept on trying to pay for the parrillada, but my friend would simply not accept payment.

Finally, he said, "By the way, I want you to know that we named our son Sergio, which is my middle name too. But I had not told you this before."

Mr. Ritchie: please pass on this story to all of our members of America Needs Fatima, for the greater glory of God and His Holy Mother.

All Ireland Senior Hurling Final 2010: Tipperary V Kilkenny-Who will win?

Many hurling supporters have been eagerly anticipating this repeat of the 2009 Senior Hurling All Ireland Final since the commencement of the Senior Hurling championship.

Tipperary has yet to reach the heights of 2009. Indeed the performance against Cork in the Munster Championship was one of the poorest from a Tipperary team for quite sometime. Nevertheless there was a silver lining. Tipp had two wins over Leinster opposition in the qualifiers, as Wexford and then Offaly were disposed of. Tipp defeated Waterford in the semi-final by seven points. The Tipperary team for the final is unchanged. There are question marks over this Tipperary team. Undoubtedly it is highly talented. However there is a strong suspicion that the team lacks the steel to finish off the opposition. The 2009 final was the one that got away for Tipperary. There are some glaring weaknesses in defence. Galway and Cork scored three goals apiece, while Waterford could have scored three.

The Tipp half-forward line has yet to strike fear into opposing half back lines. The Kilkenny team announced tonight contains John Tennyson at centre back. Brian Cody would not have selected a half fit Tennyson. The Kilkenny half backline has 5. Tommy Walsh, 6. John Tennyson, 7. J.J. Delaney. Each one of those three players is physically powerful and highly skilled. This line will take no prisoners. The Tipp half forward line of Gar Ryan, Bonnar Maher and John O’Brien clearly lacks the physical power to compete. In addition doubts surround the fitness of Eoin Kelly at full forward. Kelly could struggle against a backline, which has been strongly influenced by the defensive tactics employed by Tyrone in Gaelic football. The Kilkenny defence crowds out opposing players. It is superior to that of Waterford.

If Tipperary is to defeat Kilkenny it must aim to open up the Kilkenny defence by using the wings and the angled ball. Any effort by Tipperary to just go out and soften up Kilkenny is doomed to failure. A scrap will suit Kilkenny fine. This is not to say that players should shirk challenges. Bunching will suit Kilkenny defenders. Tipp forwards must move the ball at speed. Some ground hurling would not go amiss. Tipp forwards will run at the Kilkenny defence also. This may work.

It is difficult to find weaknesses in the Kilkenny team. However doubts must surround the fitness of Henry Shefflin. How will the cruciate ligament injury affect the confidence of the player? Whilst Brian Cody will have endeavoured to focus attention on the task at hand some Kilkenny players may feel the five in a row pressure. John Tennyson and Tommy Walsh have had injuries. Could these recur?
Kilkenny demolished Cork in the semi-final. Did Kilkenny peak for that match?
In addition Kilkenny enters the final as favourites. This eases the pressure on Tipperary. Tipperary has yet to peak this year.

If Tipperary is to win its backline must tighten up and not concede soft goals. In addition the half forward line must improve. On balance assuming that Kilkenny players are fully fit the advantage appears to be with Kilkenny. However Tipperary could spring a surprise.
