Saxby Chambliss is the better choice for Georgia (Record far superior to that of Jim Martin)

Saxby Chambliss has a strong track record as a Senator and deserves to win the run off. Now that Ted Stevens has lost his Alaskan Senate seat and Al Franken is within two hundred votes of overtaking Norm Coleman with the Minnesota recount yet to even begin, the Chambliss seat is all that stands between the Democrats and 60 votes in the Senate, which would foil Republican filibusters. These filibusters are essential to stymie Crackpot Economics espoused by the Democrats. Lets look at the policies espoused by Saxby Chambliss and Jim Martin. Saxby Chambliss is more in tune with mainstream America. Jim Martin is out of touch on the key issues.

Taxes:

Saxby Chambliss is for lower taxes and is the Senate sponsor of the Fair Tax.
Jim Martin voted for the largest tax increase in Georgia history - a vote that raised taxes by $687 million and raised the sales tax by 32 percent.

Abortion:

Saxby is pro-life. Jim Martin voted against banning partial birth abortion.

Healthcare:

Saxby Chambliss believes Georgians should choose their own doctors. Jim Martin supports national healthcare where the government chooses your doctor for you.

Judiciary:

Saxby Chambliss supports judges who strictly interpret the law. Jim Martin supports liberal, activist judges who legislate from the bench.

Energy:

Saxby Chambliss supports increasing America's energy independence by drilling offshore. Jim Martin does not support domestic drilling and will be an ally of Barack Obama to reinstate the ban on offshore drilling.

Legislative Priority:

Saxby Chambliss works for Georgia. Jim Martin works for Barack Obama and liberal Democrats.
