Palin charms world leaders in New York meetings-newsday.com

Sarah Palin has been butchered by the liberal media since she has been chosen as John McCain's running mate. Her personality, her character, her looks and her parenting skills have been targeted. Her family has been dragged through the mud. No vice presidential nominee in living memory has been subjected to such outrageous treatment. Interestingly Kathy Couric of CBS News is very concerned about Palins alleged lack of foreign policy experience. Amazingly she has failed to focus on Barack Obama's total lack of foreign policy experience. Essentially liberal supporters of Obama are saying that a woman is not fit to be vice president.Thankfully some media organs have displayed a sense of fair play.

The article titled "Palin charms world leaders in New York meetings" from newsday.com attempts to redress the balance. It should be compulsive reading for Kathy Couric . Here are some small extracts:
"On the second day of her tĂȘte- ... -tĂȘtes with heads of state in Manhattan yesterday, Republican vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin continued to make a big impression, drawing warm praise from officials from near and far."......................"The presidents of Iraq and Georgia gushed over Palin as they met with her yesterday. And Afghanistan's President Hamid Karzai told an audience Tuesday night after meeting Palin earlier that day that she asked all the right questions"..

"You are even more gorgeous than you are on the [inaudible]," Zardari said. "I might hug."

--charming with good looks does not make for foreign relations. The response from this world leader was sexist. This article is insulting and I'm surprised you posted it.

Palin has as much foreign policy experience as Obama. She has executive experience. Obama has none. I note that you failed to refer to the savaging of Sarah Palin in the liberal media

Not really. Obama has served in the US Senate where they routinely deal with matters of foreign policy. Obama has traveled abroad and met with world leaders, not in the speed-dating sessions that Palin had this week.
But why compare Obama and Palin? They aren't running for the same office.

Palin to insignifigance.

Sorry, didn't mean to fail to refer to the savaging of Palin by the liberal media. You are right, they have "savaged" her. The reason? She's running on a platform that she can't back up. She is claiming to be a reformer, yet she received over $25K in personal gifts from special interests in less than 2 years as governor. She billed back to the state almost as much just for sleeping in her own house. She talks about integrity in office, yet she has used her power to pressure a senior official to fire an employee because of a personal vendetta. Make no mistake, Palin was chosen for one reason only: She is an attractive woman. I saw the RNC. The buttons that they were wearing "I'm voting for the hot chick". You are bringing this on yourselves. Every woman should be outraged by this pick.

Take a good look at:
Fight the Palin Smears. This provides sufficient detail to prove the veracity of my statements. There is a long list of smears perpetrated against Palin. Obama media lackeys treated Clinton in a similar manner. The liberal media has disgraced itself. You are endeavouring to defend the indefensible. You see Palin is opposed to abortion. Obama the liberal media darling supports partial birth abortion.
This is the man who has no executive experience or foreign policy experience.

Web address Click Fight the Palin Smears

I find this Fight the Smears site interesting. It seems they are dissecting these claims that they have made themselves as if they are smears. i have a feeling that I'm wasting my time here, but I'll go ahead and say it..
The site claims that they have debunked the smear about the jet plane on ebay. The fact is, who cares where the jet was sold. The statement John McCain made was that she "sold the jet for a profit." She didn't. She lost money on it.
The site claims to debunk the claim that she left Wasilla in debt. Well, she did leave them in debt. She built a giant complex for a 6,000 person town that cost the people $3K each.
I could go on.. Anyway.. thanks for the link. Very good stuff. The fact that they list the Associated Press as a "smear watch" source is awesome.

While we're talking about the shameful liberal media.. read this from today's National Review (that's right.. as conservative, pro-Republican, as they come)...

Palin Problem: She's out of her league.

The Democrats are scared stiff of Palin. They have attacked her personality, her, appearance, her husband, her family. You name it, they have attacked it. The Democratic Party was once a great party. It has been taken over by left wing smear merchants. They have disgraced themselves.
American women might just decide that they have enough of it. Many Clinton women supporters will vote for McCain because of her shabby treatment by Obama and his supporters. I would not blame Bill Clinton for being bitter. Obama insulted Clinton by not choosing her as running mate.

Just take a look at the ad on NBC targeting McCains health.
If the electorate opts for this type of change so be it. It will come back to haunt it.
Finally Obama has NO executive experience. He has NO foreign policy experience. That sums him up nicely. He is out of his depth. No wonder Putin is laughing. Then we have gaffe a day Joe Biden.
