Homburg was Procol Harum's follow-up single to 1967 hit A Whiter Shade of Pale. It was released in 1967. It was witten by pianist Gary Brooker and lyricist Keith Reid. Amazingly the concert version was performed by the band 40 years later and Gary Brooker can still hit the high notes.
