This Fox News slideshow charts the horrific rise in US government debt from 1929-2009. It is a shocker. The once mighty dollar has become a devalued currency as the Fed prints more and more money to feed a voracious government machine. It is time for massive government expenditure cuts not increased expenditure. The US government-like some European governments- is sucking the lifeblood out of the economy. A stimulus package may provide some temporary respite but will eventually run out of steam if the fundamentals are not sound.

Shameful Anti McCain ad airs on NBC/MSNBC-McCains health attacked
Hopefully the voters will punish this scurrility which has targeted both McCain and Palin. As usual the left wing of the Democratic Party which is part of the Obama attack machine disgraces itself. Of course Obama will not have requested such an ad but nevertheless he stands to benefit.

FOX NEWS Reports On Inaccuracies Of Washington Post Article On John McCain
Michael Leahy's article is an attempt at overkill and is factually incorrect in many respects. Old stories are rehashed and reshaped.
There is no discussion of Bill Clinton's temper or indeed that of Hillary. Of course Barack Obama is no stranger to morning grumpiness.
This article fails to convince as it lacks objectivity and is written from a purely partisan Democratic perspective.
It is time for the Washington Post to display a more balanced approach to election coverage.
In foreign policy matters only McCain has the gravitas necessary to confront rogue states such as Iran and North Korea. Such states would view Clinton and Obama as soft touches.
