An official Vatican has got involved in the case of a shining statue of Virgin Mary in the tiny Bosnia and Herzegovina's pilgrimage place of Medjugorje. The statue last month allegedly started suddenly to spread light in the house of Vicka Ivankovic, one of six seers that live in the pilgrimage spot of Medjugorje, located in western Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Now the statue has been moved into the parish priest's house waiting for experts from the Vatican to come and examine the statue. The Vatican obviously wants to calm down the situation and to check whether some allegations in local media were true that someone could simply pour special colour on the statue that lights in the dark...(Continue reading at Croatian Times)
