It´s sad to know these people are so close, but so far removed that´s it´s difficult to begin to help. Doctor´s Without Borders is one of the finest NGO aid organizations on the planet. I recommend them to anybody looking to donate because they do not just work to make a difference during natural disasters, but they there when there are food riots, wars, and other forms of humanitarian crises. I hope that everybody will remember Haiti long after the immediate media coverage.

I agree. Within weeks it is likely that Haiti will be forgotten as the media move on to another story.
