Newstalks George Hook and Lara Marlowe in one-sided discussion on the Tea Party movement

This evening George Hook and Lara Marlowe discussed the Tea Party movement in the US. It would be charitable to call it a discussion as no proper effort was made to give the real views of the Tea Party movement

Lara Marlow strongly criticised Christina O’Donnell, Sharron Angle and Joe Miller. Her criticism of O’Donnell was savage. She was careful to mention that O'Donnell's Democrat opponent Chris Coons (also known as the Bearded Marxist) was educated at Yale. But Marlowe omitted to mention Coon's record in Delaware. He introduced a 54% property tax and a 64% sewer tax increase.
Now I wonder who the real extremist is.
One would have expected some effort at balance from G.Hook.It was singularly lacking. He made no effort to defend O’Donnell. No effort was made to stress that candidates such as O’Donnell, Angle and Miller are fiscal conservatives determined to see a balanced budget and stringent controls on government spending. They were just painted as extremists.

Now of course O’Donnell and Angle are pro-life women. Democrats and their friends in the liberal media detest O’Donnell and Angle because they are anti-abortion. No reference to this was made by either Marlow or Hook.

It was particularly interesting to note that Lara Marlowe failed to discuss the ugly personal attacks on Christina O’Donnell and Sharron Angle by Democrats and their friends in the media.
Lets look at ONE particular attack on O’Donnell:

On Wednesday’s Joy Behar Show on HLN, when a panel discussion turned to the subject of Delaware Republican Senate nominee Christine O’Donnell, panel member Judge Karen Mills-Francis of the Judge Karen’s Court show described O’Donnell as having been a "whore" as she listed some of the Senate candidate's past and recent problems.

Mills-Francis: "She’s a real train wreck, and the reason why she said that is, I mean, have you looked at this woman’s resume? She was a whore by her own admission. She was an alcoholic. She owed her college $5,000 for 10 years – they had to sue her. The IRS levied an $11,000 tax lien against her. I mean, do I need to go on?"
Apparently impressed by her rant, host Behar responded, "Keep going."

Finally is it too much to ask George Hook to give the GOP side of the argument in future? Sadly in Ireland most news comes from American Pro Democrat sources. Lara Marlowe might care to define what she means by moderate Republican?
I suspect moderate to her means pro-abortion and big spending.
