The Today Show with Sean O'Rourke featured the Friday Gathering on December 15 2017. Examining the recommendations of the Oireachtas committee on the Eighth Amendment were Bernard Durkan, Fine Gael TD for Kildare North, Rónán Mullen, Independent Senator, Alison O’Connor, Political Columnist with the Irish Examiner, and Maria Steen, of the IONA Institute. The debate on abortion starts about two minutes into the podcast.
The Oireachtas abortion committee proposals would permit abortion for any reason up to 12 weeks (which is when 90pc of abortions take place). - The proposals would also permit abortion after that and right up to birth for reasons of 'physical or mental health'. The vast majority of Britain's 200,000 abortions per annum take place on the mental health ground.
The Oireachtas Committee proposal is an outrageous attack on the life of the unborn child. A referendum based on these proposals will take place in May of 2018. The media is overwhelmingly pro- abortion and will do everything in its power to topple the Eight Amendment which protects the life of the unborn child.
Immaculée Ilibagiza was born and raised in a small village in Rwanda, Africa. She is a survivor of the Rwandan genocide. To protect his only daughter from rape and murder, Immaculée’s father told her to run to a local pastor’s house for protection. The pastor quickly sheltered Immaculée and seven other women in a hidden 3 x 4 foot bathroom. For the next 91 days, Immaculée and the other women huddled silently in this small room. She daily recited the Rosary and credits it for her survival. Her entire family was wiped out , with the exception of one brother who was studying abroad. She also found nearly one million of her extended family, friends, neighbors and fellow Rwandans were massacred. She then emigrated to the United States. She has written religious books and organises retreats and also pilgrimages to Kibeho the Lourdes of Africa.
I hope this is the best way to get in touch with you? I write to tell you about what I consider to be another miracle of the 7 sorrows rosary. I saw you in person a couple of years ago when you were in Southern California and even before that, after I read your book, "Left to Tell", I have been praying the 7 sorrows rosary. I have a niece M., who desperately wanted to have her own baby. She married a wonderful fellow who had a daughter from a previous relationship and M. loved that little girl, but just wanted her own baby and to have the experience of being a mom.
She and her husband tried and tried in vain to get pregnant for a long time, but after few years of trying, finally M. got pregnant. She had miscarriages 4 different times. They would get so excited, but after a short period of time, there would be no heartbeat. She was so sad! Last July, at a family reunion, she whispered to me, "Auntie S., I am 7 weeks pregnant! Please pray for me, Auntie!" I began that very day praying the 7 sorrows rosary for her.
I also told her about it and asked her if she would like more information on it, she said, "Yes"! So I sent her, from your website, the rosary and the booklet on how to pray it. I have prayed it almost every day since July. Her pregnancy continued to go well and she got farther along than ever. The baby was doing well and her due date was March 4th. On January 14th, her sister and sister-in-law gave her a baby shower which I flew up to attend. She was so happy and looked so great and we all were so happy for her and her husband.
The next morning, however, I looked at my phone and found a text from her saying, "Auntie, please pray. I went into labor last night. I am in the hospital and the baby is coming!" Well, baby E. was born on January 15th at only 32 weeks. He has done amazingly well! He was only in the NICU for 19 days, which is not much for being born that early. They got to bring him home last weekend. He is truly a miracle! Thank you Mother Mary and Jesus! Thank you also Immaculee for your wonderful work. You are an inspiration to all. God Bless, S. M."
Please share with anyone who might be facing any trouble, or needing a healing. The Seven Sorrows is a gift from Heaven, Our Lady obtained for us. She promised Her assistance and many graces from those who will call upon God through this Prayer. The impossible will be possible. I also kindly ask you to share with me any miracle of the Seven Sorrows Rosary so I can continue to encourage others to say it. Our Lady asked us for her help to help her children know this gift, She will reward you.

Dear children, As I am looking at you gathered around me, your mother, I see many pure souls, many of my children who are seeking love and consolation, but no one is offering it to them. I also see those who are doing evil, because they do not have good examples; they have not come to know my Son. The good which is silent and is spread through pure souls is the strength which sustains this world. There is much sin, but there is also love. My Son is sending me to you - the mother who is the same for everyone - that I may teach you to love, to comprehend that you are brothers. He desires to help you.
Apostles of my love, a living desire of faith and love is sufficient, and my Son will accept it. But you must be worthy, you must havegood will and open hearts. My Son enters into open hearts. I, as a mother, desire that you may all the better come to know my Son - God born of God – to come to know the greatness of His love which you need so much. He accepted your sins upon Himself and obtained redemption for you, and in return He asked that you love each other. My Son is love. He loves all people withoutdifference, all people of all countries and of all nations. If you, my children, would live the love of my Son, His kingdom would already be on earth. Therefore, apostles of my love, pray, pray that my Son and His love may be all the closer to you; that you may be an example of love and may help all those who have not come to know my Son. Never forget that my Son, one and triune, loves you. Love your shepherds and pray for them. Thank you. ”
"A nun in the Dominican convent, Wicklow, Ireland, writing in 1940, recalled how in 1919 Father Sullivan recommended to her the following aspirations: 'Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place all my trust in Thee.' 'Sacred Heart of Jesus, I believe in your love for me.' 'Sacred Heart of Jesus, I believe you love me now.' 'I believe in God. I hope in God. I love God. I am sorry for having offended God.' Father Sullivan added, 'Say these frequently and you'll become very holy'.
Although the aspirations suggested were nearly all well-known ones, the nun was so struck by Father Sullivan's tone in recommending them that she never forgot his words, and never allowed a day to pass without saying them." Extracted from McGrath, Fergal: ‘Father John Sullivan S.J.’, Longmans, Green & Co., London, 2nd Edition, 1945, pg. 219.The mortal remains of Venerable John Sullivan SJ lie in a shrine in St Francis Xavier's church, Dublin, Ireland. It is a place where people come to pray and bring their petitions to Fr John asking him to intercede for them with his prayers.
" My children, I speak to you as a Mother: in simple words, but full of love and solicitude for my children, who by my Son are entrusted with me. My Son, however, who comes from the eternal present, he speaks to you with words of life and sows love in open hearts. Therefore, please, apostles of my love: Have hearts open, always willing to mercy and forgiveness. Forgive my second Son, for so peace will be in you. My children, worry about your soul, because it is the only reality that really belongs to you. You're forgetting the importance of family. The family should not be a place of suffering and pain, but a place of understanding and tenderness. Families seeking to live according to my Son live in mutual love. Ever since he was still small, my Son told me that all men are for him brothers. So remember, apostles of my love, that all the people you meet are your family, your brothers according to my Son.
My children, do not waste time thinking about the future and worrying about it. Your only concern is how to live well every moment according to my Son, and here is peace! My children, you must never forget to pray for your shepherds. Pray that they may welcome all men as their children, so that, according to my Son, they are their spiritual fathers for them.
